Project Description

This project consisted of 9 Farm to Market Roads in the district of the Mansehra province of NWFP, total length of 134 km road.

Services

A. Detailed Engineering Design:

Carried out Topographic Surveys, Geotechnical & Hydrological Investigation and Traffic Surveys
Assisted, in consultation with ADB/C&W departments in the preparation of detailed programme, collection/ analysing socio-economic & traffic data for project benefit monitoring and evaluation (PBME) on 20% of the road lengths
Examined the existing design standards/specification of rural roads and evaluate suitable design standards/criteria & specifications
Prepared detailed designs/drawings/reports
Prepared BOQ, specifications & tender documents
Prepared & submitted of Project Completion Report for the Government of Pakistan and the Donor Agency

B. Construction Supervision:

Detailed construction supervision of (134 km) Farm-to-Market Road including bridge & structure
Contract management
Quality assurance
Checking & verification of measurements
Project scheduling & progress report
