The project includes:
The Project comprised of supply and discharge pipeline systems. The product supplied to ships was molasses from onshore storage tanks and the product discharged was palm oil from ships to onshore storage tanks.
Prepared & feasibility study and conceptual design, for handling palm oil import and molasses export on BOT basis.
LCT was planned for berthing vessels (Tankers) up to 35,000 DWT carrying liquid cargoes of Edible Oils, Molasses and its derivatives. The designed capacity was about 3 to 4 million tons per annum. The facility comprised of a jetty, interchanges and pipeline systems. The LCT is connected to all Storage Terminals in Edible Oil / Molasses area through its two interchange systems.
Suitable pumps, as needed, in addition to ship pumps, were provided in the design for handling the products of the two pipeline systems.
